For several reasons, this ensemble is already the revelation of the year... First and foremost, there is the total equality in their musical discourse. None of them has to impose himself on the others, nobody gave his name to the quartet, nobody can be left out. Even more striking is the combination of individual freedom and commitment to the ensemble, of technical finesse and listening to the others, of total ease and perfection. One can hear that their interpretation is based on the same principles, without sounding arbitrary or like a compromise.
