+++ Claire Huangci: Winner of the 8th National Chopin Piano Competition of the United States +++

“Everything she played was so polished, so beautiful. It was an unanimous decision” - the jury of the 8th National Chopin Piano Competition of the United States has just awarded the 1st Prize to 19 year old pianist Claire Huangci - having won the International Chopin-Comeptition in Darmstadt/Germany in October 2009, she has now received another important award for her distinguished Chopin interpretations.

One of Claire's upcoming concert highlights in 2010 will be her tour through China with the Radio-Sinfonieorchester Stuttgart under Sir Roger Norrington where she will be playing Prokofiev's 3rd Piano Concerto at the opening of the EXPO 2010 in Shanghai amongst others.
