The ensemble Glorious Percussion (Anders Loguin, Robyn Schulkowsky, Mika Takehara, Eirik Raude, Anders Haag) made the audience hold its breath in the face of such light handed virtuosity on sticks, gongs and drums. In its rhythmical dynamic and constant energetic dialogue with the orchestra, the percussion concerto had the effect of an affirmative fist blow for contemporary art.
