Eliahu Inbal and the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra celebrated Gustav Mahler (1860-1911)

For decades, Eliahu Inbal has been considered one of the world's most prominent interpreters of Mahler's music. His recordings of Mahler's complete symphonic works have been awarded many prizes. The principal conductor of the Czech Philharmonic and his orchestra have begun the 100th year anniversary of Gustav Mahler's death with a tour of Europe. Among other works, the ensemble performed Mahler's Kindertotenlieder, with Thomas Hampson as soloist.
