Guest residency of the Orchestre de l’Opéra National de Lyon under Jonathan Stockhammer at Philharmonie Essen

"Voilà la France" is the motto of the current concert season at the Philharmonie Essen. In this context, the Orchestre de l'Opéra National de Lyon presents three concerts at the Philharmonie Essen showcasing the various genres of French repertoire.
As the prelude, the orchestra together with the young pianist David Fray under the direction of Jonathan Stockhammer will perform works by Debussy, Fauré and Ravel.
A concert performance of Pascal Dusapin's successful opera Faustus - the last night will follow the next day - again under the direction of Jonathan Stockhammer.
To conclude their residency, the soloists of the orchestra will give a chamber music concert dedicated to the works of the French Groupe des Six.
