Karoline Jacob was born in Dresden and grew up on the seaside in Cuxhaven. She gained her Masters in Applied Cultural Sciences majoring in music and business administration at the University of Lüneburg, which included studies abroad at the School of Economics and Business Law in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Karoline has played the violin since her childhood and regularly participated in youth and student orchestra projects at home and abroad.
During her studies, Karoline worked at the University Sport's Office and at the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival. She further joined the touring staff of the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra and completed internships at public radio. After her graduation, she worked for two years as a festival manager for the Hamburger Musikfest and the Hamburger Ostertöne.
In July 2006 Karoline joined Karsten Witt Musik Management as project and touring manager.
