Tonia Heider was born in Siegen and spent several of her childhood years in Africa and South America. She began to study piano and when she entered school, later extending this to become a freelance organist, also taking courses in church music throughout her youth.
She studied Spanish and German Studies in Bonn and Granada, Spain. During that time, she worked mainly in the areas of media and the arts, for example at the Spanish-language editorial unit of the Deutsche Welle Radio in Cologne as well as in the Spanish Embassy’s press department. After gaining her Master’s degree, she worked for the Spanish Instituto Cervantes in Munich and Berlin for several years, where she was responsible for the scheduling and realisation of concerts and lectures.
Tonia Heider has been working at Karsten Witt Musik Management since July 2008.
